Goodbye hot sun...

Hello Colorado!

Bode and I are headed up to Silverton with my family. We had decided to go awhile ago, then talked ourselves out of it. But the heat got to us and we jumped in the car to go. I love the fourth of July in Silverton!

Summer Fun

It has been getting hot down here, big surprise right? So it has been fun to let the little boys play in water. This is a fun little Elmo sprinkler. They were a little afraid of it at first but then they decided it was a blast.

After long days of playing non-stop. One of our favorite times of day is when we clean up toys, get ready for bed, then read a bedtime story. His favorites are "Thomas and his Friends"' and "If You Give a Pig a Pancake".

I wish I was a dancer!

So in my fantisy life I wish I was a dancer. When I was 3 or 4 I loved wearing tutu's and leotards and dance. This was on "So You Think You Can Dance" last night, man it gave me goose bumps. I loved it!

We love our Daddy

1. He was born May 18, 1983 in Utah

2. He was adopted by the Joncas family when he was 10 years old.

3. He graduated from Sunrise Mountain High School.

4. He worked really hard to make the basketball team in high school. I have seen video and he was really good.

5. He served a mission in Everett, Washington.

6. He has attended Eastern Arizona College, Northland Pioneer College, Northern Arizona University, and has yet to graduate. Don't worry, he will.

7. He was nominated for Homecoming King at EAC.

8. He hates leftovers.

9. He hates getting pictures taken.

10. He has a deep down wish of becoming a pro golfer.

11. When it is cold he wears socks to bed, and in the morning they are left rolled up in the bottom of the bed. This drives me crazy.

12. He has never raised his voice at me, no matter how frustrating situations can be.

13. He loves to drink Pepsi.

14. He always puts his family first.

15. He doesn't like to watch TV.

16. He has a special talking voice. I always know he is serious when he whips it out.

17. He likes to check himself out in the mirror, lets face it , he is the pretty one.

18. He hangs on to clothes forever. When we moved I threw away a ton of his old high school clothes. And if I hadn't he would still be wearing them.

19. He and Bode are best buds. I may be the comfort for Bode but Jer is the fun one.

20. When he is hungry it is the end of the world until we find food. He gets very grumpy.

21. He has a funny laugh. You would think it would be deep, but it is a little high one. I think it is cute.

22. He loves Jalapeneos, on anything.

23. He is going to be a police officer, in less than a month.

24. He loves to play video games, do they ever grow out of this phase.

25. He is my favorite person in the whole world.

3 things on my list to do today:

1. Make a Father's Day card with Bode.
2. Defiantly buy diapers. My little stinky Bode is going through a billion this week.
3. Spend time with my hubby.

3 snacks I enjoy:

1. Chips and salsa!! Yummy, I could eat them anytime of the day.
2. Right now I am loving all the fresh summer fruit. I cut up watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, bananas and apples put them in a big bowl and snack on those during the day.
3. Popcorn. I love it. But for some reason I never buy it. Note to self; put that on the shopping list.

3 ( and a half) Places I have lived:

1. Pinetop, Az. Born and raised.
2. Thatcher, Az Glad I lived there but I would never go back.
3. Surprise, Az. Just getting settled in here.
3 1/2. I live in Silverton, CO for a summer working. I loved it. I wish I could go back!!

3 Things people don't know about me:

1. I have a birthmark on my lip. You wouldn't notice unless I point it out. When I am upset or mad it gets bigger. I guess one of my great grandmothers had one also.
2. I totally miss wearing spandex. They remind me of my sweet volleyball days. One day I hope to put them on again and feel good.
3. I am really ticklish but I don't like it. I never knew how ticklish until I was married and my hubby tickled my butt. He calls Sunday "tickle buns Sunday" becasue that is the only day I will let him really get me. I don;t know who that is more embarrassing for , me or him.

Family Pictures!!

I am in love with all these pictures. We needed to get some pictures in for Bode's second birthday. A family friend from Pinetop named Chris Paxman took some pictures of my sister's kids and they turned out so good I really wanted him to take some of our family. They turned out so wonderful! There were so many great ones to choose from I had a hard time picking my favorites. Here are a few of the best ones of the day.

Just another day

We have been pretty boring lately. Just doing the day to day routine. Bode is on a new kick. He is totally loving this " I am a terrible two year old" phase. For those of you who don't know Bode loves food, with a passion. I bought a whole box of Otter-pops, and he loves them. He is constantly asking me for "pops". Here he is desperately trying to got to the freezer to get one.

Jer and Bode are loving the valley. They both would rather be outside. A few weekends ago they where out washing the car. Bode was being to cute so I wanted to have a few pictures.


I was trying to get his attention to get the great faces he was making, and splash, water all over me. I guess I was asking for it.

Bode loves helping me cook. Here he is covered in flour for making biscuits.
