Rain...

We hardly ever get rain in the desert. The monsoons come and we live in this dry little bubble. Our town never get the rain like the rest of the valley. But when we do get rain it is cause for celebration!

Taming the wild child...

Piper has beautiful curly hair. Beautiful but wild. Much like her personality.
I have to figure out how to tame her wild hair.

One more thing that we have to tame his her love of climbing. We frequently find her hanging on to things just waiting for us to come save her.

Summer activities...

One day the kids got it in their head that they should try to catch a fairy.
They made a fairy circle and were convinced that they would catch them.
We didn't catch a fairy. Maybe some other time.

These two are getting older. Not old enough for me to let them go wherever they want whenever they want because lets face it, they will never be old enough to do that when they live under our roof. But they are old enough to get to ride their bikes down to their friends houses. They feel like big stuff when they get to do things like this. Truthfully it makes me nervous. I don't like them growing up.

Cheerios...

Isn't this how you enjoy Cheerios in the morning?

Sister time...

Jill came in from Arkansas the end of June. She dropped her kids off in Pima and came to the west valley. We got to just spend time together as sisters. We laughed, joked around, shopped, ate a lot of food and relaxed. I love spending time with them. They are my best friends.

Lamp...

Bode and Laine have been sharing the pink room for the summer. It has been fun for them but not good for getting to sleep on time. They just like to play. Now that school is just around the corner we are making the switch back to no room sharing. Bode goes to sleep really easy. Hear on the pillow asleep. Laine has to wind herself down for a long time. Bode is an early riser and Laine likes to sleep in. So now Laine gets the pink room to herself. Bode and Piper get to share his room until Piper is big enough for a big kid bed.

One thing lead to another...

My mom got a new piano so she needed to get rid of her old one.
I happily took it. I had a piano awhile ago. When we moved there was no room for it in our house. So it just went up to Lee's house with the intent to go to my moms. That was 4 years ago...

Once the piano got to my house I had a little rearranging to do. It was do big to be shoved in a corner and way to heavy to go upstairs. The only thing I could do was move all the furniture upstairs to the downstairs and vice-versa.

I really like the change. The tv is upstairs so we watch it less. Then having the big couch go upstairs opened up the room.
