My house is stuffing from post vacation sickness. It has imploded on itself and I have little to no motivation to put it back together...

Moooom...

These two really get along pretty well. They laugh and play but they both have turned into big tattlers. I can't go more than 10 minutes without hearing from one of them about something the other has done. Driving my crazy!

Father's Day.....

These kids are so lucky to have this dad. Happy Father's Day Jeremiah.

Sick...

Sometimes little people need their grandma. Sometimes big people need their mom. Becasue...

One little person isn't too excited about this little development. Our caboose coming around December 2, 2014.

Hot shot...

Bode went to a bball camp one week this summer. He said this day was an awesome day. He was the Hot-shot champ for the 9 and unders. He was so proud!

Quick getaway...

Back in April Jeremiah had the idea to surprise the kids with a trip to California. We needed a quick get away. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. So we surprised the kids with a trip to the beach and a trip to knots berry farm the next day. It was so fun! They were so happy! Dad has great ideas.

This picture needs no explanation...

Kids loved it! Bode rode all the big rides. Laine loved the characters and can't wait to ride the big rides with Bode. Piper was a trooper and rode all the kiddy rides and despite her face on the log ride picture she said she liked it.

Loved our Sunday afternoon at the beach.

Creeper cat...

The feline king of the castle likes to watch me clean the kitchen.

Swimming...

She's giving us subtle hints as to what she wants to to today.

Swimming is quite simply the only way to survive an Arizona summer.

Adventures in Pinetop...

These two were well taken care of at grandma and grandpas house while we were on the trek.
Piper really enjoyed her time at Grandma Rena's.

Trek...

Jer and I got asked to be a Ma and Pa for the stake trek. We didn't even have to think twice about it. We both said yes. It sounded like a fun adventure with Jeremiah. We nearly backed out a few weeks before because I was so sick with morning sickness and wasn't sure I could do it. But Jer told me to tough it out ;)
We figured I'd be about 15 weeks. That meant I was over sick and not getting big so it was a good time.
In the end I am really glad my husband had more faith in me than I did. It was great and we'd do it again in a  heart beat.

Our before and after. Yikes. We were so dirty and stinky. It was 25 miles and 4 days. The first day was hard. Hard, hard, hard. We walked until about midnight. We got to a point where the  "mob" turned us around and made us go another way. Not going to lie. We were beat. There were a few tears shed.
We got to the camp were we were given a cup of broth and a biscuit. We were hungry and it was so good.
That night we rolled out our sleeping bags under the start and slept. Well some slept. It was cold!
I froze and was worried that our family was cold and slept horrible.

The next day we pulled the cart a bit further to "zion". We set up camp there for 2 days where we did fun activities, learned to square dance and bonded with our "family".

These kids were great! We were lucky to have such a fun group of kids. There were tired but never gave up.

Jer was quite scroungy in the end. Turning 30 really made Jer's facial hair really come in ;)
I personally like the clean shaven look. The mustache made me chuckle when I saw him. I really couldn't take him seriously with it on his face.

It was hard. We were tired and sore for days and days! But like I said, we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Dad camping...

The girls packed bags to be farmed out for the week. In Piper's bag...She's got her priorities in line.

Had to do lots of things around here to prepare for the week. Jer took the kids on an overnight camping trip. I've been packing, doing laundry, and a little bit of relaxing.

Bode took a dive head first into the lake. Didn't slow him down.

The girls threw rocks, collected pinecones, and made wild flower bouquets.

Piper pet all the fish they caught. They all slept in the back of the car. Good memories with dad!

Random life...

Sacrament meeting doodles from my 8 year old. Gold star to who can name the movie these characters are from.

Not sure why she did this face but it's cracking me up. Found this gem on Jeremiah's phone.

Chores...

Summer chores are a must. I write them out everyday. I wonder when they will notice if they would keep their rooms and closets clean and pick up after they make a mess, it would cut their chores in half?

In an effort to reduce the boredom snacking around here I locked the two food sources. It did not go over well with our youngest resident. Today she took matters into her own hands. Just push the dork off the track. Graham crackers are just delicious.

Curls...

Pink sponge curlers. Saw them in the store today and laine asked what they did. Told her they would make her have curly hair like piper. She said we had to buy them. I predict her waking me up in the middle of the night to take them out.

She does not like it.

Summer maddness...

I like to fill up the summer days with things to do. My heart is much happier when there is a solid routine. Summer is pretty chaotic. It stresses me out. Not going to lie about that.

Summer begins...

Swimming, bubbles, and cousins.

End of school...

Laine finishes up preschool the end of May. She had a little graduation. Very proud of this girl. She was a mentor child at the dysart preschool. There are some children with special needs who attend the school. I was truthfully a bit worried about how she would treat others who weren't like her. There were many times through the year and at her teacher meetings that I was told over and over what a kind heart laine has. She could tell when one of her special friends was having a hard day and would try so hard to help them. I am proud of her and humbled by her sweet 5 year old example of love and kindness. On to kindergarden!

First day-last day amazing how much they grow. Next step 3rd grade!

Really though...

This is me 13 weeks along with number 4. Number 4 get to be the lucky one because they get all the room the others stretched out before. I am huge!

Birthday boy...

Jer turned 31 this year. He got to spend the time up in Utah with is brother and birth dad.

We did however get him back in time to have a yummy dinner and his favorite dessert.
We love him!

Toothless...

Bode's baby teeth are just hanging on for dear life. He is a little bit chicken when it comes to pulling them out. So far 3 have been lost and only one has been pulled by him. The other two were pulled by dad.

One of my instagram photo prompts was blue. I love all of their blue eyes.

Easter

The day before Easter Bode and Laine finally got to have a lemonade stand.
They have begged and begged for ever. I was glad that lots of people stopped for a cool glass. They made a couple of bucks and were so happy!

Later we dyed easter eggs.
This is not an activity that I am fond of truthfully. It is always such a mess but the kids like it. So I have to hold my breath and hope for no spills.

Easter was spent like this. Piper was a sicky so we stayed home from church.

We did however manage to salvage the day by flying kites in the evening.

Baptism...

Bode was baptised the first Saturday in April. It was a special day for him and us. We are proud of this boy and the decision he made to be baptized.
