Megan Lin...

My (not so little any more) niece was baptised last weekend. It was such a sweet day. I love Megan. She is the first niece and grandchild on the Merrill side. Megan is a great girl and it is hard to believe that she is eight. The spirit was so strong through out the whole day. I am so proud of Megan for making the choice to be baptised. She is setting a great example for all the cousins. They all love her and follow her around. since she is eight, here are the top eight reasons to love Megan:

1. She is such a good cousin. She is about 4 years older then the next cousin, but this doesn't affect the way she plays with all the little ones. She lets them all follow her around.



2. She has a beautiful smile.



3. She is tough.



4. She looks good in pink cowboy boots and hat.



5. She is a good big sister to Melanie and will be to her new baby brother.



6. When she would come visit from Wyoming or Iowa, she was always really shy, but not anymore! She is always willing to give hugs and talk to us.



7. At the baptism program the man conducting called her "miss personality". It is very true. Megan has a great personality.



8. She is a great example to her younger cousins.

Bode loves his cousin "Gogan". He gets excited when he gets to go play with her. Bode was also very happy to get to wear a tie. He thought he was big stuff. It makes him look so grown up.
