Jeeping with Grandpa Dave...

One of the best reasons to go to Silverton is the large amount of jeep trails. They are old mining roads that wind their way through the San Juan Mountains.

Here is Bode super excited to sit in the front seat of the jeep and go out on the trails.
Bode and Grandpa Dave. I guess the rough roads we to tough, so he decided to take a nap.
Surprise is roughly 1199 feet above sea level. So you get up really high into the mountains.
