- Swimming! We went swimming for the first time yesterday. Laine is going to be a little fish. She was fearless. She didn't want to sit in the little floaty and when she saw Bode jumping in she wanted to do the same. We are going to have to keep our eye on that little one. Bode has graduated from the full body floaty to just arm floaties. He was so happy to be back in the pool, and has already asked me 6 times today to go swimming. As for me and Jer... we suffered our first sunburns of the year. When will I learn that the color I am going for it tan not lobster red. Oh well. We had fun!
- Summer Movies! Every Tuesday Bode and I get to go to the movies. It is so fun to go just with him. He is getting so big. Last year when we went he could barley sit through the whole thing. This year he watched it all and was so into the story. Hopefully every Tuesday goes that well.
- Vacations! We are so excited to go to California and see the ocean. Then up to Pinetop to spend time on the cool mountain air. I can't wait to go camping with my family!
- HEAT!!! Today it is supposed to get up to 107 degrees. Summer is officially here.
Also I have decided that I want to do a preschool this year. I have been wanting to do one down here for quite awhile but had decided against it. It is hard when your don't know anyone or there are a bunch of other preschools around and you don't want to "steal" kids. I love to teach and work with kids. For the past few weeks I have been putting together all my ideas, lesson plans, planning the days in my head ext... It has made me so excited to just think about doing it. I am really hoping to do a Pre-K class for 4 going on 5 year olds, with 6 kids in the class. If I don't get enough kids then I might do a 3 going on 4 class instead. I am getting together a blog (really how many can I have) that will have the 32 week curriculum, themes, what your kids will learn, cost and everything you would need to know if you were sending your kid to me. Anybody in Surprise interested?
fun summer stuff!
